Ian Wright identifies the two Arsenal players that Mikel Arteta must sell

Ian Wright has identified David Luiz and Shkodran Mustafi as two players Mikel Arteta should be looking to move on from Arsenal in the summer.

Luiz, signed from Chelsea in the summer, hasn't enjoyed a strong start to life in north London, although he has started both of Arteta's Premier League games.

Mustafi was forced on to the pitch against Chelsea on Sunday for the injured Callum Chambers and was frozen out of the first team under Unai Emery.

Mustafi, similarly, was at fault for the Blues' winner on Sunday, allowing Tammy Arbaham to turn him inside the penalty area before firing past Bernd Leno to complete a 2-1 comeback.

Mikel Arteta: We need to be stronger for longer after Chelsea defeat

With the centre of defence still a major concern for the Gunners, Arsenal legend Wright has insisted that both Luiz and Mustafi should be on the chopping block during the summer.

"Tammy was fantastic. People give him stick for it but his hold up play when holding off David Luiz and Mustafi was great. He had them on a piece of string. He would then drive into the box," Wright explained during Match of the Day 2.

"Once they got him going his link-up play was great. In the first half, he was isolated but in the second period, he did everything he could to do the link-up play. He worked really hard and they worked hard.

"Mustafi should have gone in and stopped the play ahead of Tammy's goal.

"Arsenal gave Tammy way too much space after I thought that Willian had gone too wide.

"You have got someone like Arteta coming in there is nothing you can do to coach defenders of that experience. Those (Luiz and Mustafi) are the types of players he has to look to move on."
