Ian Wright and Lee Dixon brilliantly sum up how Arsenal fans will be feeling about Tottenham

Wednesday May 8, 2019 is a date Arsenal fans will quickly want to forget.

The unthinkable happened, bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur are in the Champions League final following a remarkable comeback against Ajax.

At roughly around 8.48pm last night, Mauricio Pochettino's side were 2-0 down and trailing by three clear goals on aggregate. It seemed mission impossible for them to book a date in Madrid with Liverpool on June 1.

Unfortunately for Gunners supporters, Spurs took a leaf out of the Reds' handbook and scored three unanswered goals in the second half to reach the final by virtue of the away goals rule.

It's safe to say every single Arsenal fan will be cheering on former player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Co in the final next month.

Then there are those who will have woken up this morning hoping last night was all a dream.

And club legends Ian Wright and Lee Dixon can certainly relate to those supporters who are simply dreading the prospect of Spurs beating Liverpool to win European football's biggest prize.

In fact both took to Twitter and perfectly summed up how fans will be feeling about their north London rivals following their heroics against Ajax.

Arsenal are in action tonight when they face Valencia in the Europa League semi-final second leg at the Mestalla.

Holding a 3-1 advantage from last week's game at the Emirates Stadium, reaching the final in Baku is an absolute must otherwise this will be viewed as arguably the worst three days in history for fans.
