If you’ve ever played a very bad round of golf then chances are you and your buddies sat around a table in the clubhouse afterward and could only laugh at how poorly you had just played.
Laughing at yourself can only help things.
Well, pros are just like us, folks.
Ian Poulter shot a 5-over 77 in his first round of The Players Championship on Thursday. He then had some lunch in the players’ room with a few of his friends – Rory McIlroy (+7), Tyrrell Hatton (+4), and Henrik Stenson (+13) – who also struggled out there.
Poulter, who is a really fun follow on social media, shared this tremendous video from their lunch:
