Ian McCall in hilarious 'f****' jibe as Partick Thistle boss sends congratulations to Queen of the South star

Partick Thistle came out on top during a typically topsy-turvy Scottish Championship clash - and Ian McCall couldn't resist a pop at one of his old players.

Willie Gibson is in his third spell at Queen of the South and was with McCall during his first when the current Thistle boss was manager in Dumfries.

Gibson scored the opening goal of the game but ended up on the losing side as Partick Thistle fought back to win 3-2 at Firhill on Saturday afternoon.

And the veteran was doing post-match interview duties when McCall couldn't resist taking a pop at him after initially congratulating him on the performance.

While Gibson was doing his media duties, McCall walks past him and shouts: "Well done Willie."

Gibson then responds to say: "Cheers Ian", before McCall doesn't hold back and instantly shouts: "Ya f****".

The hilarious encounter was caught on camera and shared on social media and you can watch the brilliant clip above.

Thistle managed to claim three points on their return to the SPFL Championship after Brian Graham's double overturned Gibson's opener.

Ruari Paton then got an equaliser for the Doonhamers before Scott Tiffoney popped up with a winner in the final minutes.
