Ian Evatt believes Dennis Politic needs to replicate more of what he showed for Port Vale over the weekend on loan from Bolton Wanderers and become more of a regular in the Valiants team.
The attacker is on loan at Vale Park for the rest of the season and is currently out of contract at Wanderers next summer as things stand.
A new deal was offered to the Romanian earlier this campaign, but was not accepted and he is set to become a free agent next summer currently.

The Romanian bagged a brace in the FA Cup second round win against Burton Albion over the weekend, meaning he has five goals in 11 appearances so far for the Valiants.
Wanderers have an option to recall Politic from his season-long loan spell in January, should they wish to do so, and Politic himself admits he does not know what the future holds at present.
He said: "We don’t know what’s happening yet.
“I know Bolton have an option to recall me back in January. We’ll see what happens.
“I am enjoying my time here so far. I am trying to give my best for the team every time I come on the pitch."
Evatt is pleased to see the 21-year-old making an impact for Darrell Clarke's side, but believes the attacker must become more of a regular for the Burslem side.
And if he cannot do so for the Valiants, Evatt does not see how he could become a regular starter for Wanderers.
Evatt said: "Well done to Dennis for scoring two on Saturday. But primarily he needs to become a regular in Port Vale's team.
"No disrespect to Port Vale but if he's not getting in their team, then he shouldn't really be getting in the Bolton Wanderers (team).
"So for me it's about Dennis getting regular football, playing regularly and continuing to do what he did on Saturday. When he does get on, make an impression, and that guarantees him starting games."
