Ian Burchnall names Notts County team to face Maidenhead

Head coach Ian Burchnall made two changes to his Notts County team as the Magpies went in search of a third successive National League victory.

Richard Brindley and Elisha Sam were both dropped and replaced by Dion Kelly-Evans and midfielder Jim O'Brien.

Despite the changes, it made no odds to the formation as Burchnall deployed a 3-5-2 formation which proved devastating in the 4-1 win at Barnet at the weekend.

In goal was Sam Slocombe behind the back three of Mark Ellis, Connell Rawlinson and Adam Chicksen.

Wing-back duties were given to Kelly-Evans and Calvin Miller who was in exceptional form in the victory over the Bees on Saturday.

In midfield, captain and assistant head coach Michael Doyle was joined by Jake Reeves and O'Brien.

Ruben Rodrigues, who has scored four goals in his last three games, was pushed further forward to join Kyle Wootton in attack.

Notts: Slocombe, Ellis, Rawlinson, Chicksen, Kelly-Evans, O'Brien, Doyle, Reeves, Wootton and Rodrigues.
