Ian Burchnall names Notts County team to face Hartlepool

Notts County head coach Ian Burchnall made just one change to the side which beat Woking on Easter Monday as the Magpies went in search of victory at Hartlepool.

Top scorer Kyle Wootton returned to the side after suspension at the expense of Elisha Sam who was left out of the squad altogether.

Wootton took his place alongside hat-trick hero Jimmy Knowles for the clash against Dave Challinor's side after scoring a memorable treble in the 4-2 win at Woking.

Otherwise it was as you were for Notts as Burchnall stuck to his 3-5-2 formation with Sam Slocombe in goal behind the back three of Mark Ellis, Connell Rawlinson and Adam Chicksen.

Occupying the wing-back spots were Enzio Boldewijn and Jordan Barnett while the midfield trio consisted of Regan Griffiths, Jake Reeves and Jim O'Brien.

Up front Wootton joined Knowles as the two-man strikeforce.

On the bench were Lewis Knight, Callum Roberts, Ruben Rodrigues, Dion Kelly-Evans and Alex Lacey.

Notts: Slocombe; Ellis, Rawlinson, Chicksen; Boldewijn, Reeves, Griffiths, O'Brien, Barnett; Wootton and Knowles.
