Notts County head coach Ian Burchnall made one change to his starting line-up for the clash against Eastleigh at Meadow Lane.
Central defender Mark Ellis was replaced by the returning Ben Turner as the Magpies went in search of a crucial three points after their defeat to Solihull Moors on Tuesday.
He slotted into the three-man defence which has been employed by Burchnall since his arrival with Sam Slocombe in goal behind the back three of Connell Rawlinson, Alex Lacey and Turner.
The wing-back duties fell to Dion Kelly-Evans and Adam Chicksen, while the centre of midfield consisted of Jake Reeves and Regan Griffiths.
Up front Kyle Wootton was joined by Jimmy Knowles and Lewis Knight.
On the subs bench Michael Doyle made a welcome return following a calf problem, but was deemed not fit enough to start.
