Ian Burchnall names Notts County team to face Bromley as key man missing

Notts County head coach Ian Burchnall was forced into one change for the clash against Bromley this afternoon.

Influential defender Connell Rawlinson was ruled out through injury and was replaced by Richard Brindley who was expected to take his place in the heart of defence.

Rawlinson's injury is not thought to be serious, but it was enough to rule him out of the National League clash and he now faces a race against time to be fit to face Wrexham on Tuesday.

But there was a welcome return for defender Damien McCrory who took his place on the substitutes' bench having missed the majority of the season through a knee injury.

Otherwise, it was as you were for Notts who were looking for a fourth straight win in the National League and they went into this game on the back of a 4-0 thumping of Maidenhead on Tuesday.

In goal was Sam Slocombe behind the back three of Brindley, Mark Ellis and Adam Chicksen with wingback responsibilities given to Dion Kelly-Evans and Calvin Miller.

In midfield, Jim O'Brien, who scored a hat-trick in midweek, was alongside Michael Doyle and Jake Reeves.

Up front, Notts were hoping Ruben Rodrigues would maintain his red-hot form having scored five goals in his last four games. He partnered Kyle Wootton.

Notts: Slocombe; Brindley, Ellis, Chicksen; Kelly-Evans, O'Brien, Doyle, Reeves, Miller; Rodrigues, Wootton.
