Iain Stirling is about to get very busy.
The telly host usually spends his summers narrating the escapades of swimwear-clad love seekers on Love Island, but with the show currently debuting its winter edition in South Africa, it seems Iain won’t be having a break any time soon.
When he’s not bringing light hearted banter to the nation at 9pm, Iain hangs out with celebs who claim they can read the minds of dogs.
ITV2’s CelebAbility is back for its fourth series tomorrow night, pitting members of the public against celebrities to see who has the best party trick.
Hosted by the Scottish stand-up comedian, CelebAbility sees a panel of five celebrities go head-to-head with a group of five friends, competing in unusual skills or abilities that the celebs themselves believe they naturally possess in a bid to bag some prizes.
TV’s most bizarre comedy game show returns to ITV2 tomorrow for its fourth series.
In episode one, the hilarious Iain Stirling is joined by new team captain Stacey Solomon, who leads a group of three friends looking to win a slew of fabulous prizes by defeating four celebrities - Katherine Ryan, Roman Kemp, Judi Love and Ade Adepitan.
Ahead of the new series, Iain said viewers can expect more of their favourite celebs “doing crazy stuff and basically, making a fool of themselves on national television.”
“People say all celebrities are talentless,” the comedian scoffed.
“Well, we are here to prove some of those people, kind of wrong! But who will reign supreme this year?
“Tune in (after Love Island, obviously) to find out! I’m genuinely buzzing about it!
“This is the best one yet, I can’t wait for everyone to watch it. It’s the silliest, the madest, the funniest.”
This series team captain Stacey Solomon and hubby Joe Swash wrap presents competitively against one another.
Iain revealed: “It was one of the most enjoyable moments of my life, watching Joe and Stacey scream at each other while wrapping presents!
“She is just brilliant. She is an absolute professional, an absolute charmer and a joy to work with. It’s been a real honour actually. TV royalty!”
This series Katherine Ryan will star, guessing how many Tinder matches people have had and Roman Kemp appears to
do his impressions, obviously.
But what is Iain’s CelebAbility? “Knowing exactly how much McDonalds I need to feel completely full!” the host proudly announced.
