'I would probably say Jurgen Klopp' - Gary Neville makes Liverpool admission

Gary Neville has revealed that the manager he would want to play under in the Premier League at this moment in time would be Jurgen Klopp.

The German celebrated four years in charge as Liverpool boss back in October of last year.

Ever since joining the club in 2015, Klopp has continued to improve the Reds, who were well on course to end their 30 year wait for a league title before football was brought to a standstill due to the coronavirus outbreak in March.

The Reds are currently 25 points of second placed Manchester City, and are just two wins away from officially being crowned Premier League champions.

And Neville believes Klopp’s energy and confidence makes him someone who you would want to play for.

“I would probably say Jurgen Klopp,” the former Manchester United man told Sky Sports.

“I just look at the way his teams play at the moment. They are adaptable, they do play with possession, but they also counter-attack and they are also competitive.

“They are not one trick ponies and I think it just looks like he is full of energy, belief and confidence.

“Always feels like he wants to attack, obviously other great managers in the Premier League, Pep Guardiola is one of the greatest managers of all time.

“But I feel Jurgen Klopp would be someone great to play for.”
