I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday star coming to Leeds for festive show

The star behind one of our favourite Christmas songs is coming to Leeds for a special festive performance.

Roy Woods is the man behind 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday', and this December he will appear at Yeadon Town Hall for the ultimate Christmas party.

Woods is a founding member of ELO and Wizzard, and having achieved three UK number one singles in his career, will provide a constant stream of hits alongside his festive classic.

The catchy tune is known for its use of festive sleighbells and a children's choir crooning along with the chorus - as well as members of Wizzard dressing in a variety of colourful festive costumes, and plenty of glitter!

Yes, it's September - but you can remind yourself of the festive magic here:

The event will take place on Wednesday, December 4, at 8pm.
