A man 'threatened to stab' a couple outside a Chorlton takeaway in a completely unprovoked attack on Monday evening.
Emma Rosson, 24, was spending time with her boyfriend, Alex, and had gone to pick up food at Panicos takeaway, on Barlow Moor Road, after a romantic evening.
It was then when she claims a random man started shouting at the pair before charging towards and threatening to stab them both.

They had been looking at properties in the window of Jordan Fishwicks estate agents when they suddenly became caught up in the alleged ordeal.
The man reportedly held his fist in both of their faces before then chasing Alex down the street.
Speaking to the M.E.N , Emma said: "We had just gone out for food in Chorlton and some guy just came up to us completely unprovoked and threatened to stab us both.
"We heard shouting behind us, turned around and just saw this guy coming towards us.
"He was holding his fist to both our faces saying he was going to stab my partner and me, 'his b***h', up.
"I have no idea why this all happened, we had never seen him before and had our backs to him the whole time before he started approaching us.
"He ended up chasing my boyfriend down the street telling him he was going to stab him because he 'works for the police', when he doesn't.
"It was so scary. I just want to warn people out in Chorlton in case he is still out there or will do it again."
Emma said the man was 'in his late 20s' and wearing a blue facemask and dark tracksuit with a cap.
She has lived in Manchester since 2016 and lives in nearby Hulme.
She added: "It was the first time we had walked through Chorlton as a couple so it has put us off and was an awful way to end the night after a nice date.
"I was more worried for my boyfriend than anything as he we obviously trying to protect me and I was genuinely worried that he was going to get stabbed as the guy was literally face to face with us."
Greater Manchester has confirmed they have received the reports and are investigating the incident, with enquiries ongoing.
No arrests have been made.
