After more than a week of silence following multiple allegations, Sykkuno has admitted to infidelity in a joint statement with his girlfriend. The streamer has also announced an indefinite break from streaming to work on himself and the relationship. The statement, posted on Apr. 17, is his first public response since accusations began surfacing on Apr. 10.

Sykkuno admits to cheating, pushes back on some claims
In his portion of the statement posted on X, Sykkuno confirmed the central allegation: that he was in a relationship, while telling other women that he was single.
I was unfaithful and I own and fully admit to that. I lied to people and told them I was single, which I know is not right. I’m sorry to all of the people that I hurt by doing this. — Sykkuno
However, he did push back on some of the other characterizations made by accusers. The streamer said that he “cannot allow false accusations and such extreme labels to be placed on” himself. He also asked that people do not direct any further hate toward those who came forward, framing their accounts as coming “from a place of hurt.”
Sykkuno also addressed the delayed response, explaining that he and his girlfriend were already privately working on their relationship before the controversy became public.
Having so much private information exposed to the public has made it incredibly difficult for us to heal together. I will be taking a break from streaming and the internet to better myself and give us the time we need to try and improve our relationship.

Sykkuno’s girlfriend: “I never wanted any of this to be public”
The second half of the statement came from Sykkuno’s girlfriend who had not spoken publicly prior to this. Her message was notably more complex in tone, expressing pain not only from the relationship itself, but from the way the story broke.
She said she never wanted the situation to be made public, and was not warned it would happen. She also noted that she has not heard from the accusers since the story first broke, and felt her own feelings were not considered.
I understand that those involved with him have been hurt as well, but I don’t believe my feelings were considered in this situation at all. […] It was already hard enough trying to work through things in private, this has just added another layer of difficulty and stress on top of everything. It’s made it so much harder for me to cope.
Despite everything, she confirmed that she chose to stay with Sykkuno, citing changes already underway in the relationship and expressing that the situation is “not irredeemable.”
As for Sykkuno, the streamer has announced he is stepping away from streaming indefinitely. It remains unclear when, or if, he will return.
