'I was gobsmacked, I couldn't believe my eyes' - car left sticking out of Salford building after bizarre crash

A car left sticking out of a building in Salford following a bizarre crash has bewildered residents.

The incident happened just after 11pm on Liverpool Road in Cadishead  last night (August 22).

Pictures taken last night showed half of the vehicle inside the Hells Angels Manchester building.

The area was cordoned off while police and fire crews attended the scene.

It is understood the car was later removed from the building. Video footage uploaded online showed a huge hole in the side of the wall as a cleanup operation got underway.

Lorna Hoy, who witnessed the scene shortly after the crash, said: "It looked like it had been reversed in, it was a pick-up type car. Looked like all the damage was inside.

"There was just a few people stood around. It was all taped off and I had to cross the road to get past.

"I was gobsmacked, I couldn't believe my eyes."

Greater Manchester Police and Hells Angels Manchester have both been approached for comment.
