'I wanted nice pictures of me in labour - my fiancé took appalling snaps instead'

We've all imagined it before - being in labour where you've had time to do full glam make-up.

Your hair is looking gorgeous and you're neatly giving birth with barely a peep.

Those who have had children know that's just not the case though, and giving birth to another human is not an attractive moment for the majority of people.

Morgan Welch asked her fiancé for some nice snaps of her in labour to keep as cute memories, but was left hugely disappointed when she saw the photos he'd taken of her - and it's not like he can go back and re-take them.

She took to TikTok to explain that she'd asked for some nice pictures, writing: "Babe, take some nice pictures of me while I give birth."

Under the words was a photo of Morgan and her fiancé looking lovely and fancy.

She then shared the picture that he'd actually taken - she was wearing a hospital gown and looking like she was in a lot of pain.

"The types of pictures he takes," she wrote over the top.

"Thanks babe," she added in the caption.

The music hilariously added to the trauma of the situation, playing Abba's 'Angeleyes' but sped up - and when it showed the photo of her in labour, the song went comically slow.

Other mums told of their own birth photos to make her feel better.

One wrote: "I've got gas and air in one hand and a cheese and ham toastie in the other", followed by crying with laughter faces.

"Girl why did you think there was going to be a lovely photo opportunity during childbirth I looked so much worse", another woman commented followed by crying with laughter faces.

Someone else hilariously wrote: "At least he was paying attention haha. Mine just sat on the chair eating packet of sour Haribos and watched me scream in pain!"
