A Scots Reddit user has come up with an epic culinary creation that just might be a slice of genius and people are absolutely loving it.
Reddit user u/Simibhoy posted a photo of his potato waffles, s quare sausage, and cheese on the social media site's s***tyfoodporn subreddit, and it has led to other users flocking to post about how much they now want to try it.
The pic shows four potato waffles topped with four square sausages all covered in melted cheese and lashings of brown sauce - much to the delight of his fellow food fans.
Speaking about his brilliant creation, he wrote: "This was literally all Items I had to make for something to eat before work…"
One person simply responded: "That would bang."
While another called it "scrumptious" looking, a few others (presumably non-Brits) were curious about the sauce used, with fellow users having to explain the concept of HP sauce.
Though one queried if the original poster had gone the extra level and added some chippy sauce to the creation.
Another user wrote: "This isn't sh**ty, its GENIUS."
One person simply wrote: "I want that in my face."
Some of those responding even called on Simibhoy to open his own café and start selling them.
Though for others it gave them a pang of nostalgia with one or two of those posting stating that they miss square sausage.
"Lived in Scotland briefly and miss it terribly. 11/10 would smash this."
There were also suggestions of how to improve it, with one suggestion being wrapping it in bacon and another being the addition of baked beans.
One (presumably Canadian) user even suggested adding syrup.
