Kerry Katona strutted the stage as a member of the girlband Atomic Kitten back in the late 90s and early noughties, but she wasn't so impressed with her family's singing performance.
The mother-of-five was greeted by her brood and her fiance Ryan Mahoney singing Happy Birthday for her 40th, but Kerry thought it was a tad lacklustre.
"I've never heard anything so bleeding miserable in my life," the birthday girl observed.
The Whole Again singer then decided to step in to bring the performance up a notch, singing and waving her arms enthusiastically to show them how it should be done.
"It was like a funeral," she told them in a video shared on her Instagram.
"Lmao," laughed one fan.
"Thank god you can sing," joked another.
The doting mum, who recently got engaged to her beau on holiday, was also greeted with a table filled with gifts and chocolates and she blew the candles out on a chocolate cake.
After turning 40 Kerry is now on a mission to take care of herself.
"Now I’m 40 I’ve made a promise to myself to look after myself the best I can.
"I’ve quit smoking don’t really drink and exercise is my best friend," she wrote to her followers.
Kerry is now isolating after her holiday but Ryan treated her on her birthday by ordering in a romantic meal.
Reflecting on turning 40 she said: "Well I’m off to bed for the last time as a Thirtysomething-year-old!!
"Well what can I say about the last 10 years?? it’s been bittersweet.
"I sometimes feel like I’m about to turn 80 not 40 the amount of highs and lows I’ve lived through and I honestly thought I’d be upset turning 40 but hand on my heart I’m so excited about this next stage in my life, it feels like I’ve waited my whole life to get to this stage!
"As I sit here now in bed thinking about the last 10 years I am honestly and truly gobsmacked, shocked, grateful and blessed even more so I’m proud! Can’t believe I made it!!"
Loved-up Kerry is planning to tie the knot in Las Vegas after getting engaged to Ryan.
Kerry was thrilled when personal trainer Ryan went down on one knee while they were on a family holiday in Spain.
The pair want to fly out to Las Vegas for their special day, Kerry has told New magazine.
Kerry and Ryan met through the dating app Bumble in 2018.
