A bride-to-be has revealed she uninvited her stepdad from her wedding, even though he paid for it, because her brothers wouldn't attend if he was there.
The woman, who is 25 years old, says she and her older brothers had a "rough time" when their parents got divorced, before their mum met their stepdad and he moved in.
In a post on Reddit, the bride said: "[My brothers] never had a good relationship because they never wanted my mum and dad to separate in the first place.
"They resented my stepdad and limited contact once they moved out."
However, while the older brothers cut ties with their stepdad, the bride explains she continued to foster a relationship with him as she spent more time with him.

She wrote: "We established a somewhat stable relationship."
The bride added her stepdad had helped her out with her schooling, and that he had even offered to fund her wedding.
"I'm very grateful for that though it was his decision," she wrote.
She then explains she sent her older brothers invitations to the wedding - but as soon as they found out their stepdad was attending, they "said they might not come."
After taking time to think, the bride says her brothers confronted her with an ultimatum - that they wouldn't attend the wedding if their stepdad was also going.
She wrote: "I literally freaked out because I definately (sic) want my brothers to be at my wedding so badly and I tried talking to them but they were being stubborn.
"After talking to my fiance I had no choice but to politely un-invite my stepdad and sending him an email stating why."
After sending the email, the bride claims her mum called her and shouted at her, suggesting she was "ungrateful" for excluding her stepdad "after everything he's done" for her.
She claims she explained to her mum that her brothers had given her an ultimatum, but her mum wasn't buying her excuse.
Instead, she scolded her daughter for prioritising her "hateful and cold-hearted brothers" over her stepdad and showing she was "not worthy of his grace."
The bride said it was "really really hurtful" for her to hear her mum's harsh words.
"After she hung up I asked my fiance if I made the wrong decision and he said it's my wedding and I get to decide," she wrote.
However, she added her fiancé is biased and is expected to be on her side.
After asking for opinions on whether or not she was in the wrong, people commented on her story to give their verdict.
One person said the bride was in the wrong for letting her brothers "control" her decision.
They wrote: "Your mothers words hurt because they are true."
Another said: "I would understand if the step dad was abusive or condescending. But this time it’s on the brothers."
