If you share a bed with a partner, you'll know all too well the familiar feeling of the covers being pulled away in the middle of the night. This, for the most part, is unavoidable – but what if it didn't have to be?
Enter: the Dream Wings Sateen Egyptian Cotton Sheet, available at Mint Luxury Linens, and designed specifically for co-sleeping couples.
Here at Homes & Gardens, we've tested many of the best bed sheets, so I put this innovative new item to the test to see how it compares. After over a month of use, these are my findings.
This Bedsheet Is Designed for Co-Sleeping
All prices were correct at the time of publication.
These sateen 500 thread count bed sheets feel incredibly luxurious, and get softer with each wash. They're oversized for a better fit, meaning I haven't had any slippage, and are designed for co-sleeping couples, with a patented top sheet with two personal panels.
I'll be honest, while I don't like being cold, I'd never considered that my bed sheets needed a radical change. After all, apart from color and material, they're all designed the same, right? Wrong. As it turns out, this particular bed sheet proves that in spades with its clever design.
Whilst the bottom two-thirds are designed like other best luxury bed sheets, it's the top third of this sheet that sets it apart.
Described on the website as 'a must-have for every co-sleeping couple,' the top third of this sheet features two personal panels for individual comfort, so you can pull it up or push it away depending on your preferences, without affecting your partner.
When designing a bedroom for better sleep, you might think about the best colors for your bedroom or the best bedroom layout ideas for your space. And, while bedding is something you should always consider, the sheets, and more specifically the top sheet, may be something you overlook, instead resigning yourself to nights spent shivering as your partner whips them away.
That is exactly where the Dream Wings Sateen Egyptian Cotton Sheet, available at Mint Luxury Linens comes in.

It also comes with an equally soft and silky fitted bottom sheet, designed with deep pockets to ensure it stays put (which I found it did), and labeled long and short sides to make making the bed even simpler.
They're also crafted with high-grade, long-staple cotton fibers, which are prized for they're extra lustrous and durable finish that's resistant to pilling and pulling, and OEKO-TEX certified dyes.
Mine's in a Queen size, but they're available in King and Cali King sizes, too, and come with equally as luxurious pillowcases, which I've found impressively comfortable night after night.
My Verdict

After a month of testing, I have to commend the Dream Wings Sateen Egyptian Cotton Sheet, available at Mint Luxury Linens, for its incredible (and I mean incredible) luxurious feel and innovative, clever design.
During testing, I was able to easily wrap up in my own portion of the sheet and stay comfortable and warm all night, without disturbing my partner. Similarly, he didn't disturb or wake me multiple times a night when he was adjusting his side. That is a big win in my book, with life being as busy and as tiring as it is this time of year.
But, at $257.95 (currently $195.95), these sheets are certainly not cheap, and may be unnecessary if you don't struggle with losing the covers in the night to your partner, and most definitely are if you don't co-sleep at all.
I also found it a bit tricky at first to make the bed neatly with them underneath the comforter, but soon perfected the neat folds that hide the sheets. Simply tuck them under the pillow for a neat finish.

All in all, these are a luxury purchase at a luxury price, and one both my partner and I have thoroughly enjoyed putting to the test. And, while they haven't necessarily made me sleep better, I've certainly slept well under them, and haven't spent any nights cold without any covers.
So, if you want to try something soft, sumptuous, and pretty ingenious, this is the product for you. It's not wholly necessary – but it is delightful to sleep under, and actually rather novel and fun. It might also come in handy for guest bedroom bedding.
What to Shop

After over a month of testing, I can confidently say that this sheet feels outrageously luxurious, but it does come with a luxury price tag. I definitely appreciate the clever design, and have co-slept happily all month long with it.

If you'd like to shop my comforter, pictured in the images above, this is the one. It features a detachable fluffy blanket that snaps onto the comforter for colder months, and it is definitely as soft as it looks.

I've used and loved this IKEA bedding set for years, and also tested my Dreamwings bed sheet alongside it. It washes well and feels far more expensive than it is.

Adding a fluffy blanket is a brilliant way to add some warmth and color to your bed. This particular pick features a brushed, mohair-like surface for extra comfort, and is made of durable recycled polyester.
