Hailed as a "game changer" the Simba Hybrid 3-in-1 Duvet is definitely grabbing the attention of shoppers and despite its hefty price tag it has won over many sleepers.
Starting at £249 for a single and a £349 for a double, the duvet is of course on the higher price side but so many consumers are praising it for its temperature regulating properties and its promise of giving users the "perfect temperature, all year round."
The mattress company offers a cheaper duvet, starting at £139 but I thought I'd try the 3-in-1 duvet to see whether it's worth spending all that money on. I also tried out the Simba Hybrid Pillow priced at £109 which has received thousands of five star reviews, here are my thoughts below.

First of all, if you're willing to spend over £200 on a duvet and another £100 on a pillow you'd better hope it would improve your sleep quality and to summarise before I get into the details, for me, they both genuinely have.
Simba Hybrid 3-in-1 Duvet
Touted as the "only duvet you need" the Simba Hybrid 3-in-1 Duvet is actually two duvets in one. It features a spring/autumn 7 tog as the main duvet and a summer one, a 3.5 tog, for warmer nights. You can add the two together using the clip-on clasps for colder nights.
My first impressions of the duvet when it came packaged in it's grey holdall bag was that it was heavy. I was slightly worried by this because I have anxiety and I don't like the feeling of anything too heavy or weighted over me while I sleep. I also suffer with sleep paralysis from time to time and was concerned the duvet would emphasise the feeling of being trapped.
However, during the first night of trialling the duvet out I was surprised at how light it felt, the "heavy" material isn't heavy at all once your under the covers and it honestly doesn't feel as though you have two duvets clipped together. I couldn't feel the clasps either from inside the cover, which was another plus.
One thing I have discovered though is despite the feeling of lightness the duvet does fall down one side of the bed from time to time during the night, whether that's myself taking the covers off my partner or not I don't know, but this doesn't usually occur with any other duvet I've had.
You don't have to clasp the two duvets together either but now the winter months are here and temperatures are dipping to nearly below freezing in some areas of the UK (it certainly feels like they are where I live), I've decided to put them both together. It's a little confusing at first to work out which duvet is which but Simba includes a handy diagram which explains that the duvet with the blue piping is the 3.5 tog and the one without is the 7 tog.
Made from Simba's renew, cooling Stratos technology the duvet features pure, cool cotton to provide an incredibly light but warm duvet, offering breathability and temperature control. Their Stratos technology responds to body temperature, drawing heat away and providing an instant cooling sensation, I found this particular true from the 3.5 tog.
The duvets are also machine washable and you put the Simba label at the foot end so you'll always know which way around it goes, and which is the heat regulating side. For optimum temperature control you place the cooling Stratos technology side (the one with the faint, geometric pattern on it) on the side closest to your body.
The biggest plus for me with this duvet is the fact that it keeps me warm all night without being too hot. It sounds horrible but there's nothing worse than waking up with night sweats if you've had a bad dream, a restless sleep or are simply too warm.
This duvet has certainly helped with my temperature control and it's honestly like lying under a cloud. It's lightness yet incredibly ability to retain heat is truly a game changer. I've had high tog duvets in the past, a 10.5 tog like the Simba 3-in-1, and I've felt suffocated and too hot, whereas this has the opposite effect.
It's good to know that other shoppers have the same opinion too. One shopper said: "Due to previous orders from Simba and finding their products excellent I decided to purchase a duvet from them.
"I cannot praise this duvet enough, exceptional quality and comfort and just the right weight, not to light and not to heavy. Due to Simba I can in all honesty say that I have not had a better nights sleep that I remember."
Another said: "The duvet is so fluffy and luxurious however doesn’t feel weighted on your body, almost like if floats over you. I currently have both quilts attached for the winter and looking forward to a cool night sleep when I separate them in summer."
While it's pricey, £249 for a single, £349 for a double, £399 for a king and £449 for a super king, the duvet does exactly what it sets out and promises to do. If you want a duvet that will last get this one. You are effectively getting two duvets in one, and for me it's given me a truly restful sleep while keeping my body at the perfect temperature.
Simba Hybrid Pillow
The Simba Hybrid Pillow is priced at £109 which is expensive for a pillow but you don't need two, depending on your comfort preference though of course, and it features the same temperature controlling technology as the duvet.
It's took me ages to find the perfect pillow, I've wanted a pillow that you get in the hotel rooms at home for a long time and this is the one. It's sinkable, yet firm at the same time, which for me caters to my comfort needs.
The pillow is not too high either so doesn't feel as though your neck is too arched or propped up. My head is also kept cool thanks to its mesh border for maximum airflow. It's also super soft and lightweight while also giving a firm position during sleep.
More than 15,000 shoppers have reviewed the pillow and many have praised it, like myself, thanks to it's cloud like feel and the fact that it has improved their sleep routines.
One shopper said: "I did struggle with a bad neck and shoulders pain and after trying many pillows on the market, I am finally happy. The height of the pillow can easily be adjusted until you are fully comfortable. Worth the money for sure."

This pillow will last you and for me you don't need another to get the perfect height or comfort. Both the duvet and the pillow are more expensive than what I would normally pay but can you really put a price on a great night's sleep?
