I tried the Dolce Gusto Infinissima Touch coffee machine and here's my thoughts

I like coffee quite a bit, so much so that I'm recognised in my three nearest Starbucks stores where they have a pretty good idea of what I'm going to order.

At the minute it's my favourite 'butterbeer' inspired latte but with the cold mornings, I don't always want to trudge out to my nearest store.

In theory, making coffee at home is the easier option but when you're used to a certain type of drink it can be tricky to recreate it without a machine.

So I got my hands on the new Dolce Gusto Infinissima Touch coffee machine to see if it could do the trick.

You can buy it here.

It was really easy to set up and I found make a really creamy foam to top a drink.

I tried the Oat Flat White and found it to be a little watery once you pass through the cream, but if you like skimmed milk it's probably the right texture for you.

Personally I'd have to add a little bit of oat milk to even out the consistency for my own tastes.

It's quite bitter but you can add sugars or syrup to it to suit your personal taste.

I also tried the Starbucks Blonde Roast espresso pod, which I thought was much better and ideal for making iced lattes at home.

If you enjoy water based coffee drinks then this is a great option for you, and for those who don't like coffee granules it is looking to be a great option.

This is a really easy to use machine, and the touch setting allows you to effortlessly select the correct amount of water for your drink (which is clearly indicated on the pod box).

It also heats up really quickly, with practically no wait time for your hot drink to come out.

I was quite impressed and will likely use it with drinks I'm sorting the milk for as I like something quite creamy.
