Kemar Roofe has become the latest player to wax lyrical about Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa.
The ex-Whites striker departed Elland Road last summer, after three seasons.
His last campaign in LS11 saw him link up with Bielsa and he went on to become top scorer that season, 2018-19, netting 15 times.
Roofe has since moved on to Glasgow Rangers, following a year in Belgium with Anderlecht.
Despite only working with Bielsa for a year, he says the charismatic manager played a huge role in his development as a centre-forward.
Roofe previously played out wide but his final season at Leeds saw him move central - and his goal return shows that it proved a wise move.
“I took away a lot," Roofe told Rangers TV, when asked about what it was like working under the Argentine.
“He changed the way I thought about the game in certain aspects.
"He allowed me to really learn the position because the position was new to me at the time.
“To really learn it, to get different ideas and like I said, to see the game a bit differently.”
Roofe has two goals in five outings so far this season for Steven Gerrard's Rangers.
