'I took a trip to B&M and found deals up to 40% off - here are my top five picks'

When it comes to picking up some some decent bargain hauls, there is nothing more satisfying than heading straight to your local B&M store.

The budget retailer has earned itself quite the reputation for providing shoppers with some savvy bargains across a whole range of departments, including homeware, beauty and skincare and electrical.

Let's face it, how many times have you gone into B&M for just one thing, only to find yourself at the till with a whole haul that doesn't include the items you went in for?

I'll admit that I have been guilty of heading to the bargain retailer quite a few times and spending a bit more than I initially intended - but, who hasn't?

Well, I decided to take another trip to my own local B&M store located at the Kittybrewster retail park in Aberdeen and it looks like shoppers can get even lower prices based on what I managed to find.

After scouring through some of my favourite aisles on the look-out for some new nifty bargains, I found that the retailer had a huge selection of discounts that were up to a whopping 40 per cent off.

Most of the biggest deals I managed to find were across B&M's ever-popular homeware department and included quite a few items from their previous collections.

I was able to find savings across a range of the store's popular Instagram-worthy collections - including Urban Paradise and Tromso - meaning shoppers can snap up some on-trend pieces for much less.

One thing I did find, was that the B&M price scanner did come in real useful during my trip, because quite a few of the official website prices were different to the stickers that I seen on the items.
