After the trials and tribulations of wedding planning, a hen do is often the first chance a bride gets to let her hair down with her friends before the big day. The same goes for grooms and stag dos, and both events can end up becoming quite unruly when too many drinks are flowing between pals. While there are plenty of wholesome activities to take part in on your hen do - whether it's quizzes, wine tasting or even a painting class - some maid of honour's still plump for the saucier option of a stripper, treating the bride to a real show in front of her closest friends.
A stripper dance can provide fits of laughter from pals who watch the bride awkwardly navigate the scenario, but one husband believes that his wife got more than she bargained for at a hen do she recently attended, as he suspects she cheated on him with the stripper.

Taking to Reddit to reveal the shocking tale, the man wrote: "My wife went to a hen party last week which was supposed to be dinner, drinks and dancing followed by board games at the bride’s house.
"She doesn’t like being away from home so we were texting regularly through the evening, she sent me pictures of dinner, cocktails and her and the girls etc.
"It got a bit weird when they got to the 'club' after dinner though. She said there was a change of plan and that the maid of honour had arranged a surprise for everyone but my wife didn’t know what it was.
After feeling concerned for his wife who 'tends to get a bit panicky with new things' the husband messaged a mutual friend who was also at the hen do to see what the big surprise was.
"She replied quickly and said 'yep, (my wife’s name) LOVES the stripper'", the man revealed.
Despite the curveball, the husband wasn't initially worried about the stripper, as he said: "So I figured that was the surprise and I reply and laugh it off, saying great, I hope she has fun".

But things got stranger when his wife said there wasn't a stripper at all - a claim that the husband quickly debunked with some tech-savvy investigating.
He explained: "About 15 minutes later I get pretty much the same text from her and my wife saying it was a joke, there was no stripper, just board games and my wife sent me a picture of some generic board game on a table.
"The picture had a very faint watermark in the corner so I Tineyed it [a reverse image search] and it was a stock photo.
"I replied and said I could see the watermark, it’s totally fine if she saw a stripper and it really didn’t bother me. She didn’t respond directly to that but kept me updated that she was coming home etc later in the evening".
If the suspicious photo wasn't enough to raise alarm bells with the husband, he then claimed that his wife was acting strangely when she got home and received more mysterious texts from her friend that hinted to the wife's exchange with the stripper.
He continued: "When she got home it was about 2am and she woke me up by falling through the door with her friends who I could hear were definitely very merry.

"They dropped her and went and she came and said hello then went straight for a shower. The mutual friend sent me a message saying in a hugely drunken jumble something along the lines of 'You might not want to kiss her on the mouth lol'.
"I mentioned this to my wife when she was out of the shower and she turned bright red. She said she’d thrown up in the street and she didn’t want to talk about it. She lay down in bed and fell asleep pretty quick.
"Curiosity got the better of me and I messaged the friend back and asked how come my wife had thrown up as she didn’t seem that drunk. She replied and said (again, drunkenly) 'She didn’t throw up though there was definitely gagging lol'".
The friend's striking comments left the husband in a difficult situation, as he's sure something went on but the wife continues to evade the topic.
"I don’t know how to approach it with anyone and my wife has been more quiet than usual since. I’m not a confrontational person by nature so I really don’t know what the next step is", he said.
People flocked to the comments section of the post to offer advice, with many urging the man to confront his wife.
One said: "I think you need to confront her. It’s pretty damned obvious what the friends are suggesting. She better either come clean or tell you what really happened in such a way that you’re convinced she’s telling the truth. Letting it fester will poison your relationship even more".
Another suggested: "I would also talk to the friend and explain her little innuendos are seriously hurting your marriage. Ask the friend to give you the honest story of what happened."
The husband confirmed in the comments that he plans to talk to his wife about the situation, and hopes that 'pressing the issue will get her to open up'.
