Sneha Wagh plays the negative lead on the show Na Umra Ki Seema Ho. Her portrayal of the character has been appreciated by the audience and at the same time people are also getting annoyed with her.
Sneha has been receiving hate for her character for a while now. She shares, “It's been 6-7 months and yes, people hate me a lot because of as my character Amba. It's important for viewers to remember that actors are simply playing a role and should not be judged based on their character's actions, yet people get angry with me.”
Sneha also recounted an instance when a fan shared her admiration and was upset at the same time, She says, “Once when I was at an event, a lady inspector came up to me as she was a fan of my work but hated my character in Na Umr Ki Seema Ho, She told me that although she loved my acting, she found it difficult to separate the character from the actor and hoped that I would play more positive roles in the future."
She adds,
“I think I am doing something right if I'm receiving so much hate for my role. Online and offline, people do acknowledge me as an actor, yes, they hate me, but they really pat me on the back for my craft. I believe it's not uncommon for actors to receive criticism for the characters they play, but it's important to remember that it's just a role and not a reflection of who I am as a person. As long as people are passionate about their work and keep challenging themselves, they continue to grow as actors."
