I scored over 120 goals for Rangers & won 55, ex-Celtic flop wants to sign me

Former Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has been targeted for a move by his old boss - ex-Celtic flop Efrain Juarez - who is now in charge of Mexican side Pumas.

Colombian hitman Morelos has resurrected his career at homeland club Atletico Nacional and helped them to a league and cup double last season after rediscovering his scoring touch by netting seven goals in 18 starts.

He was managed by Juarez at Nacional last term, who had a short spell at Celtic 15 years ago after a £2 million move, but lasted only one season before being shipped out on loan to Real Zaragoza and then Club America permanently.

However, he surprisingly quit after winning the title because of a difference of opinion with the board and took over Mexican giants Pumas last month - the club he played for before his move to Glasgow in 2010.

And he is set to make a bid for Morelos, who is under contract until the end of next year in Colombia.

Morelos has scored six goals in 16 games so far this term for Nacional. He netted 124 goals in 269 games for Rangers in a six-year spell.
