With Mean Girls Day approaching (that’s October 3rd for those who don’t know), what better way to celebrate than by channelling your inner Regina George.
To mark the occasion, it seems girl world is taking over once again as fashion retailer I Saw It First has announced their Mean Girls Part 2 Collection in collaboration with VIACOMCBS.
I Saw It First have even replicated Regina George’s iconic cut-out top featuring a flirty printed bralette underneath - however since launching on-site today the £8 top has already sold out.
The full Mean Girls 2 Collection will be available online from 6th October, so make sure to set your alarms because we're going shopping.
So far, the Regina George top is the only item we’ve seen from the collection, but like last year, we have a feeling there’s going to be plenty more slogan t-shirts, hoodies and accessories to get your hands on.
Talking about the collection, Leanne Holmes, Director of Buying and Brand at ISAWITFIRST said: “When we launched our first Mean Girls collection, we were amazed at how well it did. The film has so many iconic moments and fashion statements, so we were thrilled to launch a second range. We wanted to make the collection affordable, accessible, and suitable for all and we’re really pleased with the items we’ve designed.
“As for Regina George’s top, it was a no brainer for us, we just had to recreate it to celebrate the collection’s launch. We’ve already seen a massive demand for this unique bespoke product across our site and social channels, so we expect this to be a staple item in all fashionista’s wardrobes this autumn – it can also work as a Regina George Halloween outfit too!”
The collection will be made up of 19 items available in a range of petite, plus size and main range sizes.
Last year’s sell-out collection featured oversized hoodies with some of the film’s best-known scenes, slogan t-shirts with popular quotes and even pyjamas.
Prices from the affordable range started at just £5, with the priciest item coming in at £20, so we’re expecting to see similar prices for items within this collection too.
Some items from the first collection are still available to buy on I Saw It First now, including the Charcoal Mean Girls 'I'm Sick' Hoodie (£8), the Black Mean Girls 'I want my Pink Shirt Back' Hoodie (£20) and the White Mean Girls 'Sweatpants All That Fit Me' Hoodie (£7.50).
