A Santa Clarita dentist has come under fire online after footage of her joking about not providing the same level of care for her Democrat patients compared to Republicans went viral online.
The video, which was originally posted to TikTok but has since found its way to other sites such as X, shows a woman talking about the fact that she has pictures of significant Republican figures, including one of her and Trump, on proud display in her office. She then goes on to describe the reaction some patients give upon entering the office, “when they see the pictures you’d think their butt was on fire.” Her statement draws laughter from the unseen crowd.
She continues to mock some of her patients, when they complain about the prices she responds, “how’s Bidenomics working for you?” She also told the crowd that she preferred it during Covid “when the Dems stayed home… I wish they still did.”

But the most controversial part of her speech was when she claimed that she would “quietly cut back on the laughing gas” when patients complained about her “Make Your Smile Great Again” hat, which she would sometimes wear during procedures.
Did she seriously just admit that?
Intentionally withdrawing pain relief would certainly be a violation of the Hippocratic oath. People working in healthcare are supposed to provide care right? Well apparently that’s optional for some. Intentionally causing pain, even if only a little, due to your patients political stance is very concerning behavior. People on X were appalled with how brazen the dentist appears to be about treating her Democrat patients unfavorably.
“If roles were reversed, MAGA would be hunting her down and closing down her practice.” One person rightly pointed out. Let’s not forget that MAGA canceled Jimmy Kimmel for simply criticizing Donald Trump over his response to Charlie Kirk’s death. Another added that “Admitting to administering anesthesia based on political affiliation is criminal conduct.”
Internet detectives get to work
Usually in cases such as this people would have to do some detective work to find out who this is, and where they work, however, the dentist gives all that information in the beginning of the video. She tells the crowd that her practice is Skyline Smiles, and netizens were quick to find her business and her name, (Harleen Grewal) and leave their thoughts on the likes of Yelp.
One reviewer who gave a one star review wrote, “This animal admitted ONLINE, ON VIDEO… that she’s MAGA and purposely causes discomfort to democrats. What a terrible human being.” People also found the TikTok account for Skyline Smiles where they left more negative comments. Plenty were also calling for her license to be revoked. Currently the practice is listed as closed so the online outrage may already be affecting the business.
To clarify, people online do not have an issue with the dentist having her own political views. The issue is with her intentionally causing pain to people with whom she disagrees with, that is very concerning behavior and should not be played off as just a joke.
