Twice a week we publish problems that will feature in a forthcoming Dear Jeremy advice column in the Saturday Guardian so that readers can offer their own advice and suggestions. We then print the best of your comments alongside Jeremy’s own insights. Here is the latest dilemma – what are your thoughts?
I’ve just turned 17 and I’ve left my job as a trainee in a hair and beauty salon because it wasn’t a very nice environment to work in as I was getting stressed all the time. I never used to get breaks and I would have to work up to 11 hours most days of the week, and the staff weren’t very pleasant to each other, including to me.
I have been out of a job for over a month and obviously haven’t had any money. I’ve handed in CVs in most places around my town but no one has been in touch. I need a new job fast – what can I do?
