'I massaged a groaning Christian Slater' Scots share brilliant stories of celeb encounters

Scots have been sharing their funniest run-ins with celebrities in a hilarious social media thread.

The chances of bumping into your favourite a-list stars on the street roughly range from slim to none.

But people on the Edinburgh Girls Group page on Facebook have shown that it is possible to have completely by chance encounters with some big names in the likes of music, film and politics.

From sharing a sauna with royalty to dropping a fillet of salmon on the lap of one of the most well-known political figures in history - people on this social media post have well and truly been there and got the t-shirt.
