'I make my own Nando's sharing platter in the air fryer – it's delicious and £17 cheaper'

Nando's is a treat meal for many people - it's absolutely delicious, but it certainly doesn't come cheap with a main meal costing around a tenner, not to mention the array of tasty sides there to tempt you.

But one foodie has given his followers online a cheaper alternative to a Nando's sharing platter - by making it at home...in the air fryer.

Fraser Reynolds, who posts on TikTok as @fraser_reynolds, wants to offer his followers an easy and cheap way to make their favourite foods, and he shared a picture of the £24 platter at the start of his video, explaining he wanted to make it 'at home for a fraction of the price'.

He captioned the video: "Nando's at home. We're going all out with the full platter. Roast chicken. Cover in Nando's seasoning (including knees) 180 Roast mode for 60 mins.

"Turn every 15 and then paint with secret glaze for the final three minutes. Peri peri fries 200 air-fry mode with a little spray.

"Shake with peri-peri salt after 16 mins then return for final four minutes. Corn 190 air-fry mode for 16 mins - I took mine out after 14 mins.

"Add some parsley butter if you're posh. Brocolli, I did it in the microwave (steam). Mash is mash and you can't really go wrong. Enjoy folks!"

The secret glaze he refers to is Nando's sauce and honey, which you need to 'paint your bird' with.

When he'd plated up the mouthwatering meal, he said: "A full Nando's sharing platter at home for a fraction of the price. Cheers", as he proceeded to tuck into the grub.

In the comments, Fraser confirmed he managed to get the whole haul for £7 as he 'already had the sauce and peri-peri seasoning' in.

"Love this", someone commented.

"A star for making this yourself", another praised.

A dad wrote: "I made this yesterday for the family and they said it was better than Nando's."

"That looks amazing, impressive...", a TikToker gushed.
