'I'm sorry neighbors': Rangers' Joey Gallo turns home into indoor batting cage during MLB's hiatus

It's a problem for many across North Texas. What is everyone supposed to do with all of their extra time around the house as the state attempts to slow the spread of the coronavirus?

Texas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo found a pretty productive answer.

After Major League Baseball put spring training as well as its season on hold due to COVID-19, players became unable to use team facilities to stay ready for if or when the 2020 season actually begins.

In light of those circumstances, Gallo decided to turn his Dallas home into his own personal batting cage.

"My neighbors are going to hate me by the time this quarantine is over," Gallo said in a tweet on Saturday.

The quarantine around the Dallas-area has forced many to become creative when it comes to keeping themselves entertained. As he prepares to build off a 2019 campaign that included his first All-Star nod, Gallo appears to be doing just that.

"Now I know where to go Monday," teammate Willie Calhoun said in a reply to the video.

Hopefully for Rangers fans, safe social distancing practices will be adhered to if Calhoun does make an appearance.
