I'm sick of chaos in my fridge, so I'm bagging these $13 stackable organizers to sort it out once and for all

Stainless steel fridge in bank of green cabinets with fluted glass fronts.

My fridge is a story of two halves. Some shelves are in great order, and others are in chaos. The difference between them comes down to whether or not they have any organizers on them.

That’s why I’m bagging these steel mesh small $13 fridge organizers from The Container Store while they are discounted for Labor Day. They’ll help make the rest of my rogue fridge items fall into line, whilst their slim profile leaves fridge shelf room for bigger items or leftovers in pots.

It’s a smart kitchen storage idea to help make the most of my tall fridge, and its equally tall shelf space, most of which is currently being wasted.

Open-fronted mesh organizers are the fix

The other fridge organizers I have are shallow, slim and long plastic bins, taking up the full depth of the shelf and work perfectly for my jars of pickles, chopped garlic, or lunch meats and dairy items. It makes grabbing multiple things at once and moving them across the kitchen in one go to make lunch a breeze.

But these Container Store stackable mesh ones are handy for my daughter’s lunch-box snacks, cans of drink, or odds and ends we pick up at the bakery, or greengrocers near the village we live in.

Happy shoppers have used them everywhere in their home, from their fridge to organizing pantries and closets.

Verified buyer Ar rated the open-front organizers five stars for being the ‘perfect size for a walk-in pantry.’ They used them for storing root vegetables in their cold pantry, adding, ‘It was always a problem before to find them a "home." We keep baking potatoes in one and sweet potatoes in the other. Even thinking of getting two more for squash and onions!’

Meanwhile, shopper Jennifer H rated these five stars for being the ‘perfect height’, adding, ‘this is great storage for the counter under the kitchen cabinets stacked two high and fits perfectly. We store all our pet treats and medications in it.’

The possibilities for using these are endless and are sure to bring order to a chaotic little corner of your home. Stacking your organizers is a great way to maximize space and make use of vertical storage potential.
