Joe Lolley has racked up 10 goals and 11 assists in the league for Nottingham Forest this season.
He has undoubtedly been one of his team’s best players.
But the Reds ace has failed to make the cut for the BBC’s shortlist of Championship stars - much to the winger’s own amusement.

The Professional Footballers’ Association announced their Team of the Year for the second tier earlier this week, with Norwich City and Leeds United players dominating the roll-call.
In response, the BBC asked supporters to pick their own XI, offering a list of players to choose from in different positions - but Lolley was nowhere among them.
And he joked on Twitter, “couldn’t even make the shortlist here, I’m really struggling now”, including a crying with laughter emoji.
The only Forest representative available for selection comes in the form of Costel Pantilimon, who is one of the five options for the goalkeeping spot.
The PFA’s Team of the Year meanwhile, is made up of Darren Randolph (Middlesbrough), Max Aarons (Norwich), Liam Cooper (Leeds), Pontus Jansson (Leeds), Jamal Lewis (Norwich), Jack Grealish (Aston Villa), Oliver Norwood (Sheffield United), Pablo Hernandez (Leeds), Billy Sharp (Sheffield United), Tammy Abraham (Aston Villa) and Teemu Pukki (Norwich).
