'I'm proud of being a catfish - people say my transformations should be illegal'

For many of us, putting on makeup can help us feel more comfortable in our own skin - and there's nothing wrong with putting on a little glam, even if it's just to pop down the shops.

But one self-confessed "catfish" on TikTok has been leaving people baffled with her stunning makeup transformations, as her before-and-after videos show her giving herself a double chin and posing with spots and red cheeks before using makeup to completely change her look.

Jordyn Lyne, who posts under the username @jordynlyne, has racked up more than 25.2 million likes on TikTok with over 591,700 followers thanks to her transformation videos.

And the beauty often puts playful captions on her clips to draw attention to how different she looks with makeup on, as one video was titled: "It's a lie #catfish."

Jordyn's videos have attracted thousands of positive comments from other women who have praised her honesty, especially in clips where she is seen shaving the stubble from her chin before getting glammed up for a night out.

One person wrote: "You actually look amazing."

While another said: "You're beautiful with or without makeup, forget those rude people."

The woman has been praised for her honest approach (@jordynlyne/TikTok)

And a third wrote: "You are amazing! No joke, I would love to have confidence like you. Keep going!"

But some of the woman's male viewers are less impressed by her transformation videos, and Jordyn has been subjected to her fair share of hate from people who believe she's the reason they have "trust issues".

One troll commented: "Guys, that's why you have to take her to the pool on the first date - if you understand what I'm saying."

As a second nasty viewer replied: "Ah yes, and you ask us why we have trust issues?"

While someone else posted: "This should be illegal."

Jordyn takes the negative comments in her stride though, and recently took one message that compared her to the evil Miss Trunchbull from Matilda as an opportunity to show off another impressive makeup video.

The comment read: "Very much Miss Trunchbull from Matilda vibes."

And Jordyn responded by posting a video in which she proudly put on a mixture of foundation, under-eye concealer, baby powder for setting, bronzer, blusher and lip gloss to completely change up her look.
