As summer rages on there seem to be more reasons than ever to get dolled up and throw on your nicest dress.
Whether it's a wedding, a big birthday or just a standard night out, it seems like there's a special occasion every week. So I went hunting for the best dresses to wear when celebrating.
I tried out the Polly Asymmetrical Maxi Dress in red and it's the perfect dress to grab attention and earn yourself the title of best dressed.
The detailing around the neck is quite interesting and removes the need to wear a necklace at all, although it does welcome a statement earring.
I love the fit of this dress, with it allowing you to easily move about but it's worth noting that the zip can be quite tight around your ribs if you have a bust larger than a B cup.
That said I really enjoy the style of this dress and while I'd recommend going a size up if you're busty, I think it's an amazing statement piece.
I normally shy away from red but this dress makes me want to have more reasons to wear the bold colour.
I would say it doesn't require much jewellery and can steal the show with a bold lip alone.
