'I'm going to rape and kill you SNP scum' Troll's vile threat to ex-councillor Rosa Zambonini

An online troll threatened to "rape and kill" ex-SNP councillor Rosa Zambonini.

The horrified mum received the chilling message on Facebook , sent by a creep who branded her "SNP scum".

The independence campaigner posted a copy of the vile message on Twitter , revealing she will report it to the police.

She said: "I just checked my Facebook 'other' messages and just found this. The user has deleted their account but I’m absolutely shaken."

Rosa, who after complaining she was a victim of a campaign of harassment, tweeted last night: "There is no option on Facebook to report it, so I’m going to call the police in the morning and Parliament security.

"I’m laying in my bed crying cause I love what I do so much, but I don’t think I deserve this."

The cruel message has been condemned by Rosa's supporters on the social media platform.

Buster B said: "Big brave keyboard warrior? This person is hasn't the courage to confront you or anyone else. Stay strong."

Laughing at Zombies added: "Whoever sent that is going to do absolutely nothing to you because those are the words and tactics of a cowardly loser.

"Nevertheless it should be investigated because the police can trace whoever sent it and criminal charges can be brought against whoever is responsible."

And Tarry Breaks went on: "Absolutely abhorrent. Report this to the police Rosa and then try to forget about it, if you can.

"The message will have information attached to it that should allow the police to trace the person responsible and charge them."

stepped down from her role on North Lanarkshire Council in 2017 claiming she was driven out by sinister “whispers” alleging she used her transgender daughter Charlie’s story to boost her career.
