'I'm going to f-ing knife you'... footage shows moment sacked Emmerdale actor Asan N'Jie 'threatened Jamie Lomas at awards'

Footage from the TV Choice Awards shows the vile moment Emmerdale's Asan N'Jie threatens Jamie Lomas.

The actors were in an intense showdown on Monday night following the awards ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane in Mayfair, London.

N'jie, who only joined the ITV soap last September as Ellis Chapman, reportedly 'attacked' Hollyoaks star Lomas and then was removed from the event by security staff.

Now, in footage obtained by the Mirror , the sacked actor is seen being held back by fellow soap stars as he screams obscenities at the 44-year-old and threatens to stab him.

The publication claims that N'jie can be heart shouting: "Do you think you are a f**king big man, I’m going to f***ing kill you."

The former ITV star also said: "I'm going to f***ing knife you," despite him just being nominated at the glam bash for his soap storyline which saw his character stabbed.

As Lomas, who played Warren Fox in the Channel 4 soap, walks towards N'Jie after he had been moved to another room when N'jie appears to throw a punch and former Hollyoaks and I'm A Celeb star Malique Thompson-Dwyer runs to stand in the middle of the two men.

Following the incident, ITV vowed to launch an investigation and following crunch talks on Tuesday, September 10, N'jie had his contract "terminated with immediate effect."

An ITV spokeswoman said: "Emmerdale suspended Asan N'Jie yesterday pending further investigation into an incident at a central London hotel on Monday night.

"ITV executives have met with him this morning and as a consequence Asan's contract has been terminated with immediate effect."

N'jie then issued a grovelling apology to Lomas and his fellow Emmerdale stars.

He said: "My behaviour at the TV Choice Awards was completely unacceptable and very much out of character.

"I sincerely apologise to everybody who has been affected especially Jamie Lomas, the whole Emmerdale team, our audience, ITV, my family, and the organisers of the TV Choice Awards.

"I am devastated, accept full responsibility for my actions and I am determined to learn from this."
