An abusive thug repeatedly called and messaged his ex girlfriend making vile threats towards her after she discovered he was cheating on her.
Nathan Riley, 27, had moved back in with his ex after being released from prison in September last year.
However, after she discovered he was cheating on her she asked him to leave but he refused.

Manchester Crown Court heard that he threw an iPad towards her, hitting her leg and smashing the screen before she fled the property.
Later on she attempted to speak to him but he attacked her.
The following six weeks he repeatedly called and messaged her, threatening her and her then-unborn child.
When her pregnancy came to an end he said: “I’m glad the baby has died” and also told her: “I hope you get raped”, the court heard.
Riley, of no fixed abode, has now been jailed for 22 months after pleading guilty to criminal damage, assault and stalking.
Riley admitted cheating on her
Prosecutor William Staunton told the court that following Riley’s release in September 2021 he went to stay with his ex-partner.
On October 9, when she saw he had been messaging a friend of hers on her iPad, she challenged him about it and he admitted he was cheating on her.
An argument ensued and he threw the device at her, which hit her leg and smashed after hitting the wall.
She later went back to the house where Riley appeared at the window and shouted: “If you don’t come up here I’ll smash this house or I’ll come out and batter you outside”.
“As soon as the complainant entered her home, he dragged her upstairs and threw her to the floor,” Mr Staunton said.
“He was hot and cold and was trying to get back together with her.
“At one stage he went towards her and said “I’m going to strangle you”.
Fortunately someone banged on the front door which made him stop and she was able to escape.
Riley then began making the distressing threats towards her, the court heard.
“The complainant was pregnant at the time, and when that pregnancy came to an end he said: “I’m glad the baby has died,” the prosecutor said.
“He said: “I hope you get raped” and said he was going to petrol bomb her house.
“He also suggested that he would get twenty men to go round and 'batter anyone' inside the house’.
“The defendant also made abusive comments on Facebook about her, calling her a ‘fat tramp’ and threatened to report her to social services.”
Matters came to a head when he threatened to come round to the house and said he was ‘on his way’.
When the police arrived he was there.
In a victim personal statement, she said she had previously been in abusive relationships in the past and Riley knew that.
He was said to have a poor record of previous convictions including common assault and robbery.
Mitigating, his barrister David Thomson said his client had no previous convictions for assaults against former partners.
“The defendant suffers from acute paranoia and accepts this is brought on by his own misuse of class A drugs,” he said.
“He accepts there were previous call outs from the police to an ex-partner, but there are no previous convictions related to domestic violence.
“He accepts, perhaps for the first time, that he needs to do something about his addiction to class A drugs.”
Sentencing, Recorder Mark Ainsworth said: “She makes it clear that she was involved in other abusive and violent relationships and makes it clear that you were aware of that.
“They were the most serious and distressing threats - you can only imagine the distress and alarm.
“It is clear from the presentence report that you are no stranger to abusive relationships.”
Riley, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 22 months.
