'I'm finished with this guy' - These Chelsea fans fume over Sarri's latest Hudson-Odoi comments

Callum Hudson-Odoi’s ascent for Chelsea and England has been brilliant but also bizarre.

The Chelsea winger has impressed this season despite being just 18 and it seems odd from the outset that there is a debate about why such a young player is not starting.

Eden Hazard is currently occupying his favourite position, but the fact is that the teenager has outperformed the other wingers/forwards in the squad is the reason behind the debate.

Therefore, it’s certainly odd that he doesn’t have a start under Maurizio Sarri in the Premier League to his name. Couple that with Hudson-Odoi's call-up for England and subsequent start in the 5-1 win over Montenegro and Chelsea fans are even more baffled.

Fast-forward to Friday and Chelsea boss Sarri was offered up the chance to review Hudson-Odoi’s performance for England.

Not only did Sarri fail to offer the young gun any praise for what was a good display, he even went so far as to criticise the player.

Sarri said: "Because I had 14 players in the national teams, and I had no time to watch 20 matches. So I saw the English national team only for 20-25 minutes, and Callum didn't start very well in the first 20 minutes on the right.

"He did very well on the left, immediately. The first time he went to the left. But I know him very well, and I know he prefers to play on the left."

For many Chelsea fans, that was the last straw.
