'I'm done now' - Furious Tottenham fans call for Mourinho exit after Europa League humiliation

Jose Mourinho has come under increasing pressure following a disastrous night in Europe for Tottenham as they exited the Europa league 3-2 on aggregate to Dinamo Zagreb.

Despite coming into the game with a 2-0 lead from the first leg, Spurs conspired to throw away their advantage in the second-half of a tense match in the Croatian capital.

Mislav Orsic fired in a stunning goal just after the hour mark to give Dinamo hope and was on the mark again with less than ten minutes to play to take the game to extra time.

The attacker completed a spectacular hat trick in the first minute of the second minute of extra time to leave Tottenham on the brink of a humiliating exit from the competition.

Spurs had a number of chances to spurs a crucial away goal late on but couldn't find the breakthrough and were eliminated.

The result is the latest in a long line of disappointments for the beleaguered Portuguese manager who has already seen a Premier League title challenge evaporate and suffered an equally dramatic FA Cup exit against Everton last month.

Tottenham's last chance of silverware this season sees them contest the Carabao Cup final in April, however, they come up against runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City at Wembley.

Mourinho had already divided opinion over his tactical approach with many supporters less than impressed with the football the manager was delivering.

At full-time, it appeared to be the final straw as fans took to social media to take aim at Mourinho for allowing the Croatians to come back and win.

Tottenham now turn their attentions back to the Premier League where they face Aston Villa on Sunday looking to avoid a third successive defeat.

As well as the Carabao Cup, the manager will be hoping to rally his side and qualify for next season's Europa League with a strong finish in the league.
