'I'm begging you!' - Arsenal fans decide Edu's next transfer mission for next Paul Pogba

Arsenal supporters were very impressed with Aurelien Tchouameni's performance for France versus Spain on Sunday evening and some are calling for Edu to sign the Monaco midfielder.

The 21-year-old played the full 90 minutes for Les Bleus as they pipped Spain to the Nations League title with a 2-1 win in the final.

Tchouameni has been so impressive for club and country over the past few months and has earned links to Chelsea, who are said to be keen on the France international.

Valued at £31.5million on Transfermarkt, any move for the Frenchman would not come cheap, with just under three years remaining on his Monaco contract.

Arsenal supporters, when taking to Twitter either after or during France's win on Sunday, have told Edu what to do next when it comes to transfer business.

Tchouameni has been likened to Manchester United and France midfielder Paul Pogba in the past, something he was asked about a couple of years ago.

“It’s always a pleasure to be compared to Paul Pogba,” Tchouameni told RMC Sport in December 2019. “I think we’re in the same league.”

Pogba himself is a big fan of his France team-mate, and when asked about him recently, the Man United star said this: "[He is] very, very good.

"He is not a boy, he is a man. [It is] a pleasure to play next to him. He brings a lot of energy, a lot of energy, extraordinary technical and physical quality.

"We wish him to play lots of matches and that I am always by his side."

If Arsenal did move for Tchouameni, then it is unlikely they would have a free run at the midfielder, with Chelsea and Man United also thought to be interested in his services.
