'I'm almost 50 but look 30 - I use one skincare product to preserve my looks'

An age-defying woman has revealed her secret to a youthful appearance after being mistaken for being in her early 30s. TikTok user Michelle Silva, 48, explained how she is often mistaken for someone 15 years younger thanks to her glowing skin and slim figure.

She said: "48 and it's only getting better - age is just a number." Michelle told her 60,000 followers all about the one skincare product she swears by more than any other anti-aging tip out there, claiming there's no need to try anything else. "Do you want to know the secret anti-aging ingredient necessary to look 10 to 15 years younger than your age? Honestly, it's not even a secret. Retinol is the anti-aging ingredient that preserves your skin," she said.

Retinol, which is derived from vitamin A, sinks deep into the skin and boosts the production of elastin and collagen by neutralising free radicals.

This helps to reverse and reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and enlarged pores.

Michelle added: "There are decades of research on the benefits of retinol for anti-aging and I can vouch that it's all true. I'm 48 and I look like I'm in my 30s. That is not a flex. It's retinol working at its best.

"What does this magic ingredient do? It increases collagen production and improves cellular turnover.

"Collagen production helps to firm the skin, which combats the signs of aging and also increases cellular turnover bringing fresh and healthy skin cells to the surface.

"I am not a skincare professional but I am an expert on my skin. My consistent use of retinol for the past 20 years has preserved my skin."

Commenting on her youthful appearance, one user said: "So true my beautiful friend. Thank you for sharing you look stunning and radiant."

Another user added: "Yes! 48 and looking fly."

A third user said: "As a 34-year-old gay male who still looks 20 something. I absolutely agree with what you said and you gained me as a follower."

One more user added: "Thank you so much for your support, Michelle."
