'I'm all in' - Eddie Howe's vow to move family to North-East after taking Newcastle United job

Eddie Howe says that he is "all in" at Newcastle United - and plans to move his family from the South Coast to the North-East in the new year.

The incoming Toon boss has already started preparations for the game against Brentford a week on Saturday. But has longer-term plans that will help him get his work-family balance right.

Howe said: "It is so, so important that I commit to the area. I think with the hours I am going to work, if I didn't bring my family with me, there's no chance I'd see them.

"I don't want to be that kind of parent that's not there for their sons or husband as well. The plan is to move them up probably some time after Christmas.

"My immediate focus would be too great and obviously the boys are at school so it's not possible before then. I'm all in here and I am going to bring the family with me. I am very excited to come."

Howe also stated in his Press conference that he was an even better manager than the one who took Bournemouth to the Premier League.

Howe added: "I feel more educated on certain things to do with the game. I feel more organised.

"I have sorted out my training sessions into a digital format. I feel my way of working will be a lot more streamlined."
