One of the best compliments in life is when someone tells you that you smell good or even asks what scent you're wearing because they love it so much.
High end fragrances can cost a lot, with shoppers spending up wards of £100 for their favourite bottle but if you really love the smell it can be hard to say no. This is where dupes can save you hundreds as they smell similar without the hefty price tag.
Aldi fanatic @em_sherman took to TikTok to share some new Aldi dupes hitting stores this week that have smells reminiscent of more expensive brands like Dior and Marc Jacobs.

Emma Sherman told viewers to visit the supermarket "whatever your plans are" to make sure they get their hands on one of the many dupes landing in Aldi.
"First we have Gentleman which is Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male," she began, showing a picture of the Aldi version behind her. Usually Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male in its iconic blue bottle would set you back a minimum of £50 but the dupe is just £5.99.
Le Male is a fresh scent with some woodsy notes, containing vanilla smells as well as mint, lavender, and cinnamon.
The next fragrance Emma suggests is "Ferocious which is Dior Sauvage" which the Dior website describes as having a "juicy and spicy freshness".
For Dior's eau de parfum, customers would be looking at an eyewatering £103 for 100ml, with the Aldi dupe you could save yourself £96 as Ferocious retails for only £6.99.
Another popular scent is Paco Rabanne's One Million, which is sold for around £81 per 100ml. Saving your wallet, Aldi have Power which is once again £5.99 for the spicy leather fragrance.
Emma then moves on to traditionally female scents, starting with Floral Love which comes in a pink geometric bottle. She said: "For the ladies we then have Viktor and Ralph's Flowerbomb which is duped by Floral Love."
This high end perfume could set you back £114 for 100ml while the Lacura perfume is just £5.99, saving you £108.
Lacura's Luxe Eau De Parfum, which Emma claims is similar to Marc Jacobs' Decadence, comes in a sleek looking green bottle. AT £5.99, it is over £80 cheaper than the original which would set you back around £99 online.
"And the last one is Je Suis Belle which is Dior's Miss Dior," Emma concluded. This is the cheapest of them all at £4.99 which would save you over £120 compared to the Dior eau de parfum.
Commenters went wild for these affordable options, one person wrote: "I got the luxe I love it!" while another said: "omg decadence my fav."
Some did point out that the cheaper perfumes may not stay as long or be as strong smelling but Emma replied: "I have to disagree, some are….. but some aren't lol!"
