When you were little and people ask what you want to be when you grow up, the chances are you answered along the lines of a doctor, a teacher, a professional footballer or a dog walker.
These are all, of course, incredible career choices, but we can't help but feel that many little girls would be inclined to change their choices if they were aware of this unique and lucrative career path.
That's because one woman has claimed to be the world's first professional bridesmaids - meaning she actually earns a living from dressing up in a stunning gown and helping newlyweds celebrate their big day. Where do we sign up?!
Jen Glantz, ( @bridesmaidforhire ) regularly takes to TikTok to lift the lid on what it's really like to be such an integral part of a stranger's special day, but it turns out she stumbled across the profession by accident.
"When I was in my early twenties all of my friends got married - I was always the bridesmaid," she explained in a clip.
"Then it became a habit. Everybody I knew was asking me. My roommate at the time said 'you've become a professional bridesmaid.'"

Off the back of her roommate's comment, Jen decided to offer her professional services online, and she was gobsmacked when she received "hundreds of emails from people" in response.
In follow up videos, Jen explained that she does in fact pretend to be best friends with the bride, and on many occasions, even the husband doesn't know that she's actually a complete stranger.
Jen does, however, take her role very seriously, and says she always stays sober during weddings as she's there to work, rather than to have fun.
Still, it sounds pretty amazing, right? But Jen says it's "not as glamorous as people think," adding: "It involves a lot of sweat, tears and blood."
