A mum who has twins has been left frustrated at the comments other parents make about her family, as she says people often tell her they would "hate" to be in her position.
Justine Pendrill took to TikTok to rant after she was approached by a mum at a baby group who told her that she'd seen her out and about the day before and the sight of her twins sitting in their double pram had sparked a conversation between the other mum and her friend.
But rather than keep her comments to herself, the mum told Justine that her friend had said she would "hate" to have twins, which left her furious - as she pointed out that she didn't "get a choice".
In her video, she said: "I've just had a woman at a baby group stop me and was like, 'Oh, I think I saw you yesterday'. Purely because I have a giant double pram that's teal in colour and around our area that's not very common.

"She was like, 'I was with my friend and she said, oh can you imagine [having twins]? I would hate that. You could never.'
"Do you get a choice? When you find out you have twins, do you get a f***ing choice?
"Have a day off, hun. It's not a compliment, shut up."
Justine, who posts on TikTok under the username @justinependrill, then explained in the comments of the clip that while she's experienced more positive interactions than negative ones, many of them are "backhanded" compliments.

She wrote: "In fairness, I’ve experienced a lot more good than bad but most are backhanded like that."
The mum - whose twins are one boy and one girl - also joked that other parents must expect her to leave one child at home and take the other out with her, and said that she's sick of the "weird" comments as she's just trying to "do her best" as a mum.
She said: "Why couldn’t she just say 'I saw you'? Why add the weird comment?
"We don’t have a choice, we have to adapt and do our best."
Commenters on the video were quick to support Justine, with many praising her for her work as a parent to twins, and others sympathising as they had been through something similar.
One person wrote: "I'm a mum of three and one baby at a time is hard enough. I think twin parents are amazing!"
While another said: "I’m 30 weeks with twin girls and at playgroups, mums always say ‘better you than me’ or ‘I’d hate that’ and it’s so rude! I didn’t choose this!"
And a third added: "Backhanded compliments. ‘I couldn’t do it’ ... what would you do then hun, leave one on the porch?"
