Toni Braxton is a "hopeless romantic".
The 58-year-old singer has always been a firm believer in love, and she doesn't accept that there is an age limit to it, either.
The chart-topping star - who is married to rapper Birdman - told People: "I'm a hopeless romantic.
"I’m always looking for love. And I found out [now] that I'm older, that romance is never over. It's ageless.
"We always think it’s such a young person thing. And I've learned that it's not, it's at any age. You can find romance or love or partnership, anything like that."
Toni also explained that she comes from a "sisterhood".
The singer - who is one of the best-selling female artists in history - added: "I come from a sisterhood, a sistership. I'm one of five, we lost one [Traci Braxton]. But still she's with us. And so that matters. Sometimes a situation can come and break that up or make your family situation, your sisterhood stress."
Meanwhile, Toni previously claimed that people shouldn't feel "afraid to age".
The singer raised eyebrows when she posted a topless photo of herself on social media, and Toni subsequently revealed why she decided to share the image.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Toni explained: "I was feeling myself. I was feeling myself, so I thought I'd show it ... I wanted people to know that 50s is still sexy and it's OK and don't be afraid to age.
"I felt some kind of way when I turned 50, but I'm OK. I'm alright about it."
At the time, Toni was focused on her Love and Laughter residency with Cedric the Entertainer.
The singer confessed to loving her experience in Las Vegas.
Toni - who was married to singer Keri Lewis between 2001 and 2013 - shared: "I'm having so much fun. Cedric's fantastic. He's even letting my tell jokes and he's singing, so we're having a great time."
