Eggs are notorious for being a difficult staple to get right. Frying freestyle can result in a pan-sized mess.
However, one viral video has shown a clever hack using something that everybody would have in their kitchen, a clove of garlic.
Using a clove of garlic, the egg whizz draws certain patterns before cracking the egg and putting it into the pan. The video then shows the egg being confined to those shapes.

More than 4.4 million people have watched the video on the @molebo_xx TikTok account, while 70,000 people have 'liked' it.
However, the hack which appears to work perfectly in the video is heavily disputed in the comments.
One viewer said: “I am on egg 14 and nothing so far.”
In the video, it seems that the garlic clove is peeled and pressed firmly onto the pan when creating the shapes.
Another viewer said: “I tried and push down a bit hard and it kinda worked.”
